This engaging training equips child care providers with the knowledge and practical tools to keep children safe through the six Active Supervision strategies: Set Up the Environment, Position Staff, Scan and Count, Listen, Anticipate Children’s Behavior, and Engage and Redirect. Participants will learn how to apply these strategies in real-life classroom and outdoor settings to prevent injuries, respond proactively to potential hazards, and maintain constant, effective supervision. Through discussion, examples, and hands-on activities, providers will strengthen their ability to create a safe, responsive, and nurturing environment where every child is seen, heard, and protected at all times.
