“Early Childhood Education & Consulting” offers quality CECPD-approved formal training on a variety of topics for early childhood educators in Oklahoma. Our staff are early childhood and health professionals with expertise in child development, early childhood education, and health & safety. We are well versed in OK DHS licensing requirements and the QRIS Star’s Rating System. In addition to trainings, we offer individualized technical assistance for your center or family child care home.

Meet Joyce
Joyce Reynolds graduated from nursing school in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, New York. Throughout her career, she has worked as a registered nurse in a wide range of inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily in pediatrics.
In 2008, Joyce began working as a Child Care Health & Safety Consultant in Tulsa and the surrounding areas, where her passion has grown to focus on educating early childhood professionals and supporting programs in creating healthy, safe environments where children can learn and thrive.
Joyce has been married to her husband, Gary, for 44 years. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren. In her spare time, Joyce enjoys reading, painting, boating, and exercising.
Meet Jessica
Jessica Smith has served as a Child Care Consultant in Oklahoma for the past 10 years and brings more than 25 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. Since earning her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, she has worked in a variety of childcare settings, gaining extensive knowledge and experience supporting young children during their most important years of growth and development.
Jessica has dedicated her career to helping childcare providers create positive, play-based engagement, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. She is passionate about providing educational trainings and technical assistance that enhances the quality of care and learning experiences for children and their teachers.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling and going on fun adventures with her children, family and friends!
meet lynn
Lynn Todor has been a nurse practitioner since 2012. She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Tulsa and worked as a cardiac ICU nurse while completing graduate school. she later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and has gained experience in primary care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care. In addition to working for Early Childhood Education and Consulting, Lynn performs disability examinations and provides medical opinions for Veterans.
Lynn has been married to the love of her life, Chris, for 18 years. They have 3 children Daniel, Ella and Carson. Music is a big part of their family life. Their children are heavily involved in band and music. Some of Lynn’s favorite moments are spent watching her children perform at Friday night football games, concerts, and during competitions. Her husband, Chris, is also involved in music and she loves watching him perform with his band, playing at church, or supporting the ORU Golden Eagles in the pep band.
Her family also includes three fur babies: her dogs, Lucy and Stella, and her cat, Ember. In her free time, Lynn enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to concerts, cheering on her families many musical adventures, and relaxing with puzzle books.
